India Strikes Pakistan

Amidst the tension over the attack in Kashmir, India Strikes Pakistan with missile on six places in Pakistan late on Tuesday night. At least 8 people were killed and 35 injured in these attacks. In response, Pakistan launched counter-attacks that night.

The Pakistan army claimed that they shot down five Indian fighter jets that took part in the attack. They also claimed to have destroyed the headquarters and a check post of an Indian army brigade in Kashmir. The Indian army said that three civilians were killed in shelling by Pakistani troops in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, a few days after the attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, a picture of a woman lying next to the dead body of her slain husband went viral. The picture has become a symbol of the pain and heartbreaking reality of the victims of the attack. Both India’s defense and foreign ministers have posted a picture on social media with the name of the operation X, which shows a picture of red powder.

India Strikes Pakistan

Indian authorities have not commented on the claim of shooting down Pakistan’s aircraft. However, if these warplanes are destroyed, it will be the biggest loss for the Indian army in decades. As a result, the war risks intensifying. It is worth noting that 26 tourists were killed in a recent terrorist attack in Pehalgaon, Kashmir. India is blaming Pakistan for this incident, while Pakistan has denied any involvement in the attack.

However, amid the tension, Indian troops launched missile attacks on several cities in Pakistan on Tuesday midnight. This operation has been named ‘Operation Sindoor’. On the other hand, Pakistan has called the Indian attack ‘unprovoked and cowardly’. They have started responding in kind. In the current situation, India is urging its citizens to be cautious. It has been advised to avoid traveling to north India unless it is absolutely necessary.

India VS Pakistan: Wars and Conflicts

India launched this missile attack after 1 am yesterday. The Indian army has launched this operation under the name ‘Operation Sindoor’. Under this, nine installations in Pakistan and Pakistan-controlled Jammu and Kashmir have been attacked.

Indian missiles hit six places in Pakistan – Sialkot, Bahawalpur and Muridke in Punjab and Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Kotli, the capital of Pakistan-controlled Azad Kashmir. The Indian army said that it did not attack any installation of the Pakistani military.

Indian media PTI reported that these attacks were carried out on the hideouts of armed groups, including the headquarters of the Pakistan-based armed group Jaish-e-Mohammad in Bahawalpur, and the headquarters of another Pakistan-based armed group Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.

Is India Pakistan War Possible

Tensions between India and Pakistan have been high many times. Some examples are Uri, Pathankot, Parliament House attack and Kargil. But even then the common man did not have to participate in this security exercise.

Such an exercise is happening again after 54 years. Such an exercise is happening after the Pahalgam incident. Such an exercise is happening because of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan on the border and the ongoing gunfight every night.

Is India Giving Visa to Pakistan

Currently, India has suspended the issuance of visas to Pakistani nationals. The Indian government took this decision in the wake of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22, 2025. As a result, all visas issued to Pakistani nationals have been cancelled from April 27, 2025. Those who were staying in India at that time have been asked to leave the country within a specified period.

However, long-term visas issued to Pakistani nationals of Hindu religion are exempted from this ban. They have been allowed to continue their stay in India, but they will have to complete re-registration through the e-FRRO portal by July 10, 2025.

Earlier, India had stopped indian visa for bangladeshi after August 5. Currently, the country has introduced Indian Medical Visa on a limited basis.

Currently, no new visas are being issued to Pakistani nationals. No specific timeframe has been announced as to when this ban will be lifted. This ban is likely to remain in place until diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan improve. If you are of Pakistani origin and hold a foreign passport, your visa application process may face additional scrutiny and the process may take a long time.

Conclusion

Amid the tense situation created by the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India launched simultaneous missile attacks on several cities in Pakistan in the early hours of Wednesday. Indian military sources said that the country’s three forces – land, navy and air force – carried out the operation in a coordinated manner.

In Pakistan, this operation has been named ‘Operation Sindoor’. The Indian army claimed that 9 terrorist camps were destroyed in this operation. They carried out this attack in retaliation for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
